Cañas Racket is seeking a dynamic and experienced Pickleball Pro to lead and oversee our pickleball program. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional teaching, coaching, and organizational skills to create a welcoming and engaging environment for pickleball enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. This role offers the opportunity to lead and grow a vibrant pickleball community within our prestigious club.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive pickleball program tailored to players at all levels, from beginners to advanced.
- Provide private and group lessons, clinics, and workshops to improve players’ skills and techniques.
- Organize and oversee pickleball tournaments, leagues, and social events to promote participation and engagement.
- Foster an inclusive and welcoming environment that builds camaraderie among pickleball enthusiasts.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to integrate pickleball into the club’s overall activity schedule.
- Assist in promoting pickleball programs through effective marketing strategies and clear member communication.
- Stay updated on pickleball coaching trends, techniques, and equipment to continuously enhance the program.
- Maintain the courts and equipment to ensure they are safe, clean, and in excellent condition.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a pickleball instructor or coach, with a demonstrated ability to teach individuals and groups.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with members, staff, and guests.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to accommodate events and members’ schedules.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
