Cañas Racket is hiring a passionate and skilled Racket Sports Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in coaching padel, pickleball, and tennis for players of all ages and abilities.
Position Summary:
Deliver exceptional racket sports experiences by offering top-tier instruction and outstanding customer service. The role involves teaching various racket sports programs, including junior programs, private and group lessons, clinics, and special events. This is a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide beginner-to-advanced level instruction in private and group settings for players of all skill levels.
- Promote and lead racket sports clinics, private lessons, special events, and programs to engage and retain clients.
- Educate players on racket sports rules, scoring systems, safety protocols, and etiquette.
- Enforce club policies and guidelines regarding facility usage and equipment.
- Perform racket stringing services and maintain court facilities.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and feedback.
- Ensure safe work practices in all activities.
- Uphold a positive attitude and professional demeanor, demonstrating courtesy, service, and hospitality.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, handling equipment, and engaging in physical activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment
- Primarily outdoor work in moderate noise conditions.
Preferred Skills and Knowledge
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English (to assist customers, collaborate with team members, or use English-language materials).
